What Accreditations Really Mean to You
It’s all very well having accreditations but what do they mean, in real terms, to you as a customer?
NSI’s mission is to raise standards in the security and fire industries in the interests of you, the customer. To become an NSI approved company Business Watch UK Fire and Security had to;
- meet the highest business performance standards
- meet all relevant British and European Standards for technical performance
- security screen all relevant staff (security companies)
- provide a high level of staff training and supervision to industry best practice standards
- be comprehensively insured to protect customers and staff
- be inspected every six months by professional auditors including random site visits.
Prior to the Private Security Industry Act (2001) the security industry was unregulated and virtually unmonitored … you didn’t know who might be involved in ‘protecting’ your property, your business and your assets … or what they’d been involved with in the past!
As an accredited and approved company with the National Security Inspectorate and a member of the Approved Contractor Scheme you can have the peace of mind that not only do we meet or exceed the highest possible business performance standards – both British and European – but all relevant staff are security screened for your safety.
These accreditations ensure that whatever we do for you it will be completed to the standards demanded by the controlling body. The accreditation is only awarded when we’ve proven we consistently achieve the highest standards, whether it’s CCTV, fire alarms or intruder alarms, alarm monitoring, key holding or any of the other services and products we can help you with … You can be safe in the knowledge that you, your property and your assets are as safe as they can possibly be because they’re protected by BusinessWatch Group.
