The Security Industry Authority is the organisation responsible for regulating the private security industry. Our BusinessWatch Guarding division directly employs over 40 SIA licensed security officers. SIA licensing ensures that security officers are ‘fit and proper’ persons who are properly trained and qualified to do their job.
We also ensure that our dog handlers hold full National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU) membership. NASDU aim to maintain nationally recognised training and operational standards for dog handlers and trainers, as well as maintain standards of care, health, safety and welfare of security dogs.
The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) assesses knowledge of fire and professional experience, awarding internationally recognised membership grades and fire-related qualifications.
