BusinessWatch Group are proud to be one of just 1000 specially selected Apprenticeship Champions in the UK. Apprenticeship Champions are chosen through positive promotion of apprenticeships to young people and creating opportunities for all regardless of ability.
Jonathan Wakerley, MD of BusinessWatch Group says: “We have a number of apprentices across the BusinessWatch Group and really look to them as being the future of our industry. We take the time to ensure they experience every department in the business to give them a full overview of what we’re about, and we can then help them develop throughout their apprenticeship to the best of their abilities.”
With an industry-wide shortage of fire and security engineers, encouraging young people into the industry is vital. Jonathan continues: “We have apprentices across all departments, but new engineers are a major part of ensuring we have succession planning covered in order to continue delivering the best service possible for our customers.”
