    What is the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC)?

    Our ARC is a secure centre where systems are monitored for activation signals. Systems such as intruder alarms, fire alarms and CCTV systems can be triggered at any time, so the ARC provides reassurance that your systems are monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

    What happens when the ARC receives an activation signal?

    On receiving an alarm notifi­cation, a Monitoring Centre Operative will look at the alarm image and check the live feed. If the notification is confirmed, they will then issue an audio notice. Following this, they call the keyholders or initiate a police response. A mini report of the incident is then compiled and sent direct to the customer.

    What accreditations does the ARC have?

    Our Alarm Receiving Centre holds the full BS 5979 Cat II accreditation and is approved to the NSI’s Gold Scheme.

    The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) is recognised as the leading certification body for the security and fire protection industries in the UK.
