It’s recommended that the security company you use for your intruder alarm system are third party approved. This ensures that your intruder alarm system design and installation meet a set of criteria and standards, safeguarding yourself against inadequate workmanship.
BusinessWatch is a National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold approved company. Established over 40 years ago, NSI has gained a reputation as the leading specialist certification body for the fire and security sectors. Our business and our engineers are regularly audited by NSI to ensure we continue to meet the strict regulations, and NSI audits are renowned as thorough, professional and the toughest in the industry.
As an NSI approved company you have the peace of mind that not only do we meet or exceed the highest possible business performance standards – both British and European – but all BusinessWatch staff, office and field-based, are security screened for your safety. You, your business premises and the security of your employees is our main priority.
Initially, one of our expert security consultants will attend the site to conduct an in-depth consultation and site survey. This allows us to really understand what level of site security you’re looking to achieve, which areas you want to protect the most, and any areas most at risk. We can guide you through the options available, answer any questions and even suggest solutions you may not have considered.
Once we have this understanding, our in-house design team will then design an intruder alarm system bespoke to your specific site requirements.
Based on this design, you’ll then receive a comprehensive proposal detailing the appropriately graded intruder alarm system, the detection suggested and the options available.
On acceptance of the proposal, our Service Centre of Excellence will contact you to arrange a suitable time for the installation of your intruder alarm system. You’ll receive a phone call from your NSI approved engineer beforehand to let you know they’re on their way. They’ll then install your new intruder alarm system to strict NSI criteria.
Once your intruder alarm system is installed, your BusinessWatch engineer will commission the system. You will receive an NSI Certificate of Compliance that states your system meets the minimum NSI standards.
If your intruder alarm system is to be monitored, your engineer will set up the necessary signalling and ensure the relevant activations are in place and working correctly. Following this, your engineer will give a full demonstration of how to use the system.
You’ll also receive a Security System Log Book. This has sections to detail the following:
