We are delighted to announce that Group MD Jonathan Wakerley has made it onto the prestigious IFSEC list of Global Security & Fire Influencers 2018.
The Top Influencers list looks for nominees who have played a key role in drivingĀ technological innovation; been a driving force in changingĀ regulation,Ā standards/guidanceĀ orĀ best practice, or have been influential inĀ shaping debateĀ around industry issues.
Judged by a panel of top executives from across the world, the annual list recognises those who dedicate their time to the future development of the fire and security sector.

The fire and security sector needs a lot of time and investment to ensure it meets regulatory standards and continues to provide the end users with the best service and systems available. There are a lot of challenges around this, including bringing new recruits into the sector to fill the existing skills deficit. Here at BusinessWatch, 10% of our current workforce are apprentices. If more larger companies could replicate this model, the industry would be in a much better position for the future.ā
Jonathan has also recently been appointed to the IFSEC Installer Advisory Board. Set up in 2015, the board meet to discuss key issues and challenges within the industry and exchange best practice.
